Candel Therapeutics

Susan Stewart is chief regulatory officer at Candel Therapeutics. Previously she served as CRO for Kaleido Biosciences and as senior vice president, regulatory affairs and quality. She has more than 32 years in biopharmaceutical regulatory affairs, with experience including senior vice president of regulatory affairs, quality, and compliance at Tokai Pharma and vice president, regulatory affairs, at Transmolecular. She spent more than 13 years at Genzyme Corporation (Sanofi) in regulatory and compliance roles, including as vice president, regulatory affairs. She began her career in regulatory and quality at Abbott Laboratories. Sue continues to serve clients as an independent regulatory consultant and strategic advisor for drugs and biologics. She received her JD from Purdue University Global, an LLM in health law and policy from Hofstra University, and a BA from the University of Massachusetts.
