Kori joined Medtronic in 2011 as a clinical research associate and has taken on a succession of roles with increasing responsibility within the Clinical Research and Medical Science (CRMS) function. In her current role of Sr. Director Enterprise CRMS, Kori serves as sponsor of the Medical Science council to drive the value of the function as a strategic partner to the business. She also leads the enterprise Patient Engagement Strategy to ensure that patient input is incorporated throughout the product life cycle. She acts as the Center of Excellence for functional acquisition and integration activities ensuring thorough CRMS input into these business development strategies. Kori holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado-Boulder as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Regis University. After her under- and post-graduate education and training in the academic research setting, she left to pursue her nursing degree and practiced as a critical care nurse prior to joining Medtronic.
