Kelly Robinson is the Director General of Health Canada’s Marketed Health Products Directorate. In this capacity, she works with a multidisciplinary team on a range of post-market regulatory activities for health products, including adverse event surveillance, assessment and risk mitigation, risk communications, advertising monitoring, policy development, use of real-world evidence and domestic and international stakeholder engagement.
Kelly has extensive pre- and post-market regulatory experience with Health Canada, and has been involved in the review and authorization of pharmaceuticals and biologics for more than 20 years. She has played a leadership role in initiatives such as aligning reviews between Health Canada and Health Technology Assessment organizations, international work-sharing, and collaboration with foreign regulatory authorities.
