Christine Mayer-Nicolai, PhD

Christine Mayer-Nicolai is Vice President at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, leading the Global Regulatory and Scientific Policy team. Christine is representing TransCelerate as the Chair of the Regulatory Council and continously supported this organization almost since it's inception over 10 years ago. She has also contributed to various IMI projects and has been representing Merck in various PhRMA and EFPIA committees for over 20 years.
Christine is a pharmacist and has been working in pharmaceutical industry for 30 years, always focusing on regulatory and policy. Prior to Merck she worked at the German pharmaceutical industry association and with Allergan. She has a PhD from the University of Würzburg and was a visiting professor teaching master students for Regulatory Affairs at the University of Bonn for 17 years.
