Commander (CDR) Christopher Egelebo is a Commissioned Officer in the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps. He is a Senior Program Management Officer with the Division of Biostatistics in the Office of Biostatistics and Pharmacovigilance, Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research. He is the CBER regulatory and administrative lead for the Complex Innovative Design program. Before joining the FDA, CDR Egelebo was a Senior Clinical Research Nurse and Clinical Nurse Educator at the National Institutes of Health. He has extensive clinical experience in pediatric oncology, geriatrics, and medical surgical nursing. He previously served in the United States Navy.
CDR Egelebo earned his Doctor of Health Science degree from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Master of Business Administration and Master of Science Health Care Administration from University of Maryland, Global Campus; and a Bachelor Science degree in Nursing from Old Dominion University, Norfolk Virginia.
