Description: Messenger RNA (mRNA) was discovered in the early 1960’s and research into how mRNA could be delivered into cells was developed in the 1970’s. The global COVID-19 pandemic of 2020 was the first time an mRNA vaccine was brought to market. This session will highlight the science behind mRNA technology and how the regulatory landscape has and continues to evolve pre- and post-pandemic.
